As a pharmacist in my 50’s, I am passionate about helping others through preventative healthcare. Too many people have to depend on expensive medication and a healthcare system that is difficult to deal with. I believe through fitness and healthy nutrition many medications and disease issues can be avoided. I have seen people my age suffer with heart disease, strokes and high cholesterol. Over the last 5 years, my husband and I have focused on our health through at-home workouts, and focusing on proper nutrition. As a result, he has been able to discontinue his need for cholesterol medication and I have kept 20 pounds off. I realized that workouts alone didn’t help unless I started eating the right foods. My desire is to help others through providing nutrition education and workouts that are modifiable to any age and fitness level.
